Welcome to the quietside of Mount Desert Island

Both cottages are in the oceanside village of Manset, located 1 mile south of Southwest Harbor, and have an easy two-mile walk around the neighborhood which passes by the ocean and boating community.

Hickory Ridge

This cedar-shingled saltbox overlooks the harbor and mountains of Mount Desert Island. Handicapped accesible to the first floor, the house has two bedrooms and tub/shower combo bath on the second floor and a loft overlooking the kitchen, masterbedroom on the first floor, bathroom with a shower, a study (with a single trundle bed), and a great room with kitchen, dining, and living areas and outdoor deck. Lower level includes a game area with ping pong table, dart board, and an additional double bedroom with tv.

The house has a right-of-way access to Shore Rd. There is a shed on the property to house bikes and gear.

The house can sleep 6 -8. There is a mandatory additional cleaning charge for any group of 7 or more. Pets are welcomed with prior consent and refundable pet deposit.

Spruce Cottage

This two bedroom summer cottage is nestled in the woods of Manset on the shore road, with a small pond off the deck and a peek-a-boo view of the ocean and mountains. There are two bedrooms, a bath with tub/shower, and a great room with kitchen, dining, and living areas.

This house sleeps 4 comfortably and does include a single pullout bed in the living room.

Portacribs, high chairs and air mattresses are available upon request.
